Introduction

Lancaster County Council representative Bryan Vaughn formed the ILAC in the Spring of 2006 as a way of building the community and developing a sense of participation and activism. While the ILAC has no formal authority at this time, we have already had an impact on the local political landscape, because when 50 residents come together representing local neighborhoods, politicians will notice!

I envision this site serving as a central hub, a place where you can find all of the ILAC subcommittee sites and blogs, where we can list the contact information for all of the various government entities that overlap here in Indian Land. When you are talking to your neighbors about the ILAC, you don't want to give them ten different web addresses... instead, you can send them here and they can navigate to all of the resources they need.

Meetings

Meetings of the Indian Land Action Council are held the second Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Media Center of Indian Land Elementary School. The public is always welcome.
